SNEAK PEAKS is a fixed route, unsupported, single-stage bikepacking expedition that starts and finishes in Bolzano. It crosses the Italian Dolomites and Triglav Mountains in Slovenia. The clock does not stop and there are no prizes. It follows gravel, single and double track, tarmac roads and old colonial pistes that have long been forgotten and fallen into disrepair.
There are three routes – ENTREE (500km, 19.000hm), CLASSIC (750km, 29.000hm) and ADVENTURE (1.100km, 39.000hm).
A tracking rental is mandatory and will automatically be added when booking your spot for one of the three routes.
We would like to briefly explain how the advance booking fee will be calculated:
1. ticket and shopping basket fee to HömeThis fee is made up of €0.50 per ticket and 3% of the value of the shopping basket and goes to our friends and partners at Höme, who are behind the ticketing system and are thus shaping the future of the event- and festival industry.
2. payment processing feeThis fee corresponds to 2.5% of the shopping basket value and guarantees the processing of payments.
FLINTA* includes female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender.
PoC means people of colour.
We want to encourage under-represented groups in cycling to take part at Sneak Peaks and to make the sport that we all love more diverse and inclusive. There is a 7,4 % gender pay gap in Germany, that we would like to address to our entry prices, however, we are aware, that not all groups under the term FLINTA are affected by this. But we do see a structural disadvantage for these groups of people.
We know that inflation, rising energy prices and, of course, rising ticket prices are not affordable for everyone. Unfortunately, the immense rise in production and living costs leaves us no choice but to adjust prices accordingly. If you can't afford it send us a mail to [email protected] and we’ll do our best to make a plan!
The SOLI CARDS are financed by Soli contributions. These contributions can be made voluntarily by people who are in a position to do so when purchasing tickets. So if you’re in a financially stable position and CAN afford it, think about contributing a Soli fee and make someone’s year! Trust us, it feels great! However, the SOLI CARDS are not dependent on the Soli contributions. If fewer contributions are received than are required for the solidarity cards issued, we will cover the difference.
